Mark Gross, President & CEO

MARK GROSS

President &
Chief Executive Officer

A recognized authority on XML implementation and digital transformations. Mark’s experience and leadership focuses on developing and delivering technology-driven solutions. Under his direction, DCL uses the latest innovations in artificial intelligence, including machine learning and natural language processing, to help businesses structure data and content for modern technologies and platforms. 

Prior to joining DCL in 1981, Mark was with the consulting practice of Arthur Young & Co. Mark has a BS in Engineering from Columbia University and an MBA from New York University. He has also taught at the New York University Graduate School of Business, the New School, and Pace University. He is a frequent speaker on the topic of XML, DITA, AI in scholarly publishing, and content reuse strategies.

Judy Gross, CFO

JUDY GROSS

Chairman of the Board &
Chief Financial Officer

Judy founded DCL in the fall of 1981. She oversees all financial and HR activities that take place at DCL. Prior to founding DCL, Judy worked at SAMI, which was a market research subsidiary of Time, Inc., and IDC, a financial data supplier, where she gained experience in the development of large marketing and financial databases. During this time, Judy's responsibilities included training clients to ensure that they were utilizing the data in their databases effectively and efficiently. Judy holds a BA in Economics and Psychology from Syracuse University and an MBA in Quantitative Analysis from New York University.

Mike Gross, CTO

MIKE GROSS

Chief Technology Officer

Mike is responsible for solution engineering, solving challenging conversion projects for Fortune 500 organizations. He has overseen thousands of legacy conversion projects. Mike is also the chief architect of DCL's document conversion tool set, including its proprietary hub and spoke technology. Prior to joining DCL in 1986, Mike managed the development of a US Air Force Software Development Tool Set for Advanced Computer Techniques Corporation. He holds a BS in Computer Engineering from the Case Institute of Technology at Case Western Reserve University.

Amy Williams, Executive Vice President & COO

AMY WILLIAMS

Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer

Amy supervises DCL's daily business, including scheduling and managing projects, as well as monitoring DCL's financial performance, customer relations, and personnel management. She develops the strategies, processes, and technologies that continuously improve organizational performance. 

 

Amy joined DCL in 1998, bringing a combination of strategic business planning skills and systems development qualifications that meet the challenging business demands of DCL's customers. Amy obtained a BS in Computer Science from the University of Florida and an MBA from the University of Maryland.

Tammy Bilitzky, CIO

TAMMY BILITZKY

Chief Information Officer

Tammy is responsible for managing DCL’s technology department, continuing its focus on resilient, high-quality, and innovative products. She has extensive experience in leveraging technology to deliver client value, supporting business process transformation and managing complex, large-scale programs onshore and offshore. Tammy joined DCL in 2013 following three decades with Marsh and McLennan Inc. subsidiary Guy Carpenter & Co., LLC, a global leader of reinsurance and capital management. Tammy holds a BS in Computer Science and Business Administration from Northeastern Illinois University. She is a Project Management Professional, Six Sigma Green Belt, and Certified ScrumMaster.

Marianne Calilhanna, VP of Marketing

MARIANNE CALILHANNA

VP Marketing

Marianne manages DCL's marketing activities, which comprises sharing the company's success stories in a way that is meaningful to the industries DCL serves. She publishes the monthly DCL newsletter, develops content for and produces the DCL Learning Series, exhibits and sponsors industry events, manages the corporate website, and takes part in transforming DCL's broad list of services into pragmatic products that support content structure and content interchange.

She is a content and technology professional with 30+ years of marketing, editorial, product development, publishing, and change management experience. Marianne is an active member of the Society for Scholarly Publishing and serves on the Annual Meeting Planning Committee, Community Engagement Committee, and is co-chair of the Philly SSP Regional Group.
